Aide-Mémoire 10 - Baggage and Egocentrism

During these times I became aware of carrying a baggage of experience. It was the first time I felt feedback from my past, memories, and senses and it makes me insecure because it's individual and unique. From this experience, I better understand people's obsession with the future and their peculiar, perhaps, uncanny awareness of the moment. When you're young you live through Actual Egocentrism because of the absence of baggage, and as a young adult when you start becoming aware of your baggage, you start to plan ahead, and you attempt to mold your future baggage. Here we are not actually egocentric, instead, this is Anticipatory Egocentrism. And when we're old we look back and live through our baggage, this is Nostalgic Egocentrism.
